----- INTRO -----
The purpose of this page to create a list of the songs I've created. I feel that
one of my failings in the past, has been that I create songs without taking the
time & putting out the effort to memorize them. I've been trying to change
that for a while now, via lots of extra time spent trying to memorize my own
stuff... The problem is, I find that what I write is more difficult to memorize
than much of the material I learn that was written by others. For example, memorizing
"Thanks For The Rain" and "For Eileen" literally took more than
a month; maybe, two. However, I managed it, and intend to continue the endeavor.
I've got lots of old material that was skipped over in this respect.
It's also worth mentioning, that to keep things simple and the list uncluttered,
I haven't been meticulous about making notes within the list in places where the
current preference of instrument is vague. The metronome settings which I enter
into this list are simply my preferences.
The list I'm presenting here has 3 sections: Songs I've written and have memorized,
songs I've written that I used to have memorized but don't remember any more, and
songs I've written that I haven't memorized yet. Each section has 3 columns: Title
of the piece, preferred Metronome Setting, and Preferred instrument.
This list continues to be a "work in progress".
Every now and then, I remember that I used to have something memorized (or have something memorized
at the current time), and when that happens I enter it into the list. When I go to practice something
and use the metronome, if the rate I settle on isn't in the list, then I add it. No rate specified
means I haven't practiced that particular piece using the metronome, since I began this list.
Here are the meanings of the abbreviations I use in the 3rd column:

strange road to reach this place where I'm posting a list of songs,...
