----- ABOUT THE SONG -----
I began the creation of this song on July 30, 2005, during a weekend when I was inspired
via having met a pretty blond singer named, "Mernie". Since the evening when I
first wrote this song, there's been a whole series of changes; some minor, some not so
minor. The last version Mernie saw, was the revised copy I gave her on the fourth (and last)
night of her band's performance at the LVD Casino in Watersmeet, MI. Aside from chord sequence
and rhythmic considerations, an example of a change I made, is that when I first wrote this I
performed it at MS=100; now, that's been slowed down to a more laid-back feel at MS=80. Also,
please note that although the notation "E+7 = 022130" may not be technically correct,
I made the decision to go ahead & use that term ("E+7") because doing so is a major
convenience for the sake of making clear where the form of E7 changed to the alternative variant
of the chord. The copy of the song which I've turned into a HTML document seems to me (at the
moment) to be a finalized version. It's latest changes were dated 12/12/05. Feeling that it was
finished, I once again put effort into finishing the page I'd begun a couple of months ago
- and, TAH-DAH! Here it is.
