----- NOTES -----
What's on this page, is the lyrics for the song as I play it as of December 22,
2007. Since its inception, the song has almost continuously undergone (sometimes
major) changes of lyrics, structure, chord sequences, and harmony - until about
April of 2007. It was about that time, when a magic point occurred, where I
found something interesting to do with the chord progressions. Shortly
thereafter, I worked out a major lyrical kink to resolve the 2nd chorus - and
it just all fell into place. Although I considered it finished, there was still
one minor point of dissatisfaction re. the lyrics. I didn't like that it was
repeating the first chorus/refrain, in the third such. I've now settled on a
replacement set of lyrics for that refrain - and, there's nothing left in it
that I'm not satisfied with. I went about 2 years without the capacity for
recording music, and that's changed as of about a month ago. I intend for the
song to have percussion, violalin, and flute - so, at the moment, the only real
obstacle between the current status and having it recorded is the fact that I
need to improve my skills on flute & violalin to do those parts in the
manner I envision (they're complicated). Also, I consider this particular song
to be a strong candidate for eventual commercial production and distribution -
which is why I'm not posting the chord progressions at this time. If & when
the questions re. commercial distribution have been settled &/or completed,
I'll expand the content of this page to include the chord progressions - and,
perhaps, be able to include a link for people to go obtain a copy of the song
for listening to.
